About the Role:
Edocbits is looking for a passionate and skilled WordPress Developer to join our growing digital team. If you have hands-on experience building custom themes, optimizing performance, and integrating plugins, this is your opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, creative, and impact-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to convert designs into responsive websites.
Optimize website performance, SEO, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in WordPress development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, etc.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and deployment processes.
Good understanding of SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Bonus Points:
Experience with WooCommerce or multisite.
Knowledge of headless WordPress and REST APIs.
