Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar has emerged as Bollywood’s biggest box office phenomenon of 2025, delivering a historic run despite releasing in a non-festive window. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller has been rewriting record books daily and outperforming several big-ticket festival releases of the year.
Within just 10 days of its theatrical run, Dhurandhar has amassed a massive ₹353.18 crore nett at the Indian box office, according to trade tracker Sacnilk, making it the fastest Hindi film of 2025 to enter the ₹300 crore club. In comparison, films like Saiyaara and Chhaava took significantly longer to cross the milestone.
One of the film’s most remarkable achievements has been its unprecedented second weekend performance. Dhurandhar recorded the biggest second Friday, Saturday and Sunday ever for a Hindi film, overtaking Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film earned ₹32 crore on its second Friday, ₹53 crore on Saturday and ₹59 crore on Sunday, taking its second weekend total to a record-breaking ₹144 crore nett — the highest ever in Hindi cinema.
On the global front, Dhurandhar entered the ₹500 crore worldwide gross club within 10 days. With a domestic gross of approximately ₹420 crore and overseas earnings nearing ₹110 crore, the film’s total worldwide collection stands at around ₹530 crore. It is now the third Bollywood film of 2025 to achieve this feat and the fifth Indian film overall this year.
The success has also marked major personal milestones. Dhurandhar has become the highest-grossing film of Ranveer Singh’s career, surpassing Padmaavat. For director Aditya Dhar, it is his biggest commercial success to date, overtaking Uri: The Surgical Strike by a wide margin.
With strong advance bookings for its second week and no signs of slowing down, Dhurandhar is now widely expected to end its theatrical run as the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, cementing its place as a landmark release in contemporary Bollywood.
