Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein has officially crossed the ₹100-crore worldwide milestone within six days of release, marking a major commercial success for the film. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the movie continues to perform strongly across major domestic markets despite experiencing its sharpest weekday drop on Wednesday.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Tere Ishk Mein earned around ₹6.75 crore net on Day 6, with:
- ₹6.4 crore from the Hindi markets
- ₹35 lakh from the Tamil markets
Steady Footfall Despite Weekday Dip
Although Wednesday saw the lowest daily collection so far, the film remains stable in key urban centres including Mumbai, Delhi–NCR, and Bengaluru. Mass circuits are also holding their ground.

- Sunday (Day 3): ₹19 crore
- Monday (Day 4): ₹8.75 crore

- Wednesday (Day 6): ₹6.75 crore
With this, the India net total stands at ₹76.75 crore, while the domestic gross is around ₹92.5 crore.
An additional ₹8 crore from the overseas market has propelled the movie’s total global gross past ₹100 crore, making it:
- Dhanush’s highest-grossing Bollywood film
- Kriti Sanon’s seventh film to enter the ₹100-crore club
Dhanush on His Role
Dhanush shared that his character Shankar was both emotionally rich and creatively challenging.
He described it as “a good part with a lot of challenge”, adding that he gravitates towards roles that push him artistically.
Competition Ahead
As the film enters its second week, it will face competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. Both films, however, have a narrow window before James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theatres on December 19, likely to dominate the box office nationwide.
