Method 1: Disable Flexbox Container (Already Done)
Since you mentioned that you’ve disabled Flexbox in Elementor Settings, but you’re unsure what else you did, try these additional steps:
Method 2: Change Back to Sections & Columns Mode
- Go to Elementor Settings:
- In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Elementor → Settings.
- Click on the Features tab.
- Look for Flexbox Container (sometimes under “Experiment”).
- Set it to Disable or Inactive.
- Click Save Changes.
- Regenerate CSS & Data:
- Go to Elementor → Tools.
- Under the General tab, click Regenerate CSS & Data.
- Click Save Changes.
- Use Sections & Columns in New Pages:
- When adding a new section in Elementor, select “Classic Section” instead of “Container”.
- If you still see the container-based layout, try editing existing pages manually and converting them to sections.
Alternative Fix: Rollback Elementor Version
If the new Flexbox container is causing issues and you want to revert to an older version:
- Go to Elementor → Tools → Version Control.
- Look for the Rollback Version option.
- Choose an earlier version where containers were not the default.
- Click Save Changes and Update.
After these steps, you should be back to the classic Section & Column grid system.
